Montblanc Luciano Pavarotti Limited Edition 888 Fountain Pen. Model reference: 111674. Just as Pavarotti wore his black tuxedo with a white bow tie and shirt when on stage, the Limited Edition also comes in black and white lacquer. The Limited Edition 888 is inspired by the opera “Turandot”, the performance of which catapulted Pavarotti to world fame. The Eastern influence found in the music is reflected in the black and white lacquer dragon with its red garnet eyes adorning the cap. Fine engravings depicting opera ornaments decorate the Au 750 gold cone, which is adorned with a faceted garnet. The forepart of the Limited Edition 888 is embellished with five engraved rings, symbolising the five tiers at the “Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti” opera house. A delicate engraving of Pavarotti’s unconventional good-luck charm, a bent nail, decorates the Au 750 solid gold nib. Also featured in both Limited Editions is the gold-coated clip recalling Pavarotti’s trademark extravagant scarves. These pen come in original packaging with set of documents and 2 years warranty.
