Montblanc Peggy Guggenheim Limited Edition 888 Fountain Pen. Model reference: 113928. The Peggy Guggenheim Collection located on the Grand Canal in Venice is one of Europe's premier museums devoted to modern art. The pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by the pieces of modern art she collected, especially from the Art Deco movement. The straight shape of the cap, barrel and clip is connected to the Art Deco period. The cap ring is decorated with lion heads inspired by the "Palazoo Venier dei Leoni", Peggy's former home, which is decorated with lion heads - the symbol of the city of Venice. The cone refers to the red and white striped Venice pillars. The nib design with dog paws recalls her beloved 14 Lhasa Apso dogs, which were very important to her throughout her life. The marbled Montblanc emblem evokes the shape and surface of the "Palazzo Venir dei Leoni". These pen come in original packaging with set of documents and 2 years warranty.
